I Tell Tales, With My Hands

As a Sculptor Author and Illustrator, I tell Tales Fantastical, Practical and Magical in Clay and Wood, Pen and Paper ~ and any other materials that serve willingly ~ using talents gifted to me as a child of two Artists Raised in a magical realm of art supplies, real life fairy tales, inspiration and encouragement, in the remote countryside of rural northwest New Jersey in the 1950’s, ‘60s and early ‘70s, it was a natural and organic path that led to my creation of Dragon Folk Studios.

Along the way, I attended Massachusetts College of Art, lived in many places and tried on many different lives. But of all these adventures, raising my three extraordinary children as a single Mom has been the most influential aspect in my path to finding you here today.

In 1990, I created the Enchanted Realm of Dragon Folk and Dragon Folk Studios, populated by my original characters: Dragons, Wizards, Faeries, Elves, Pixies, Merfolk, Unicorns, Mermaids, Humans & other creatures of Magic, many of whom appear in my writings. I create these magical denizens as objet d’ art as well as utilitarian objects: Candle Holders, Incense Burners, Business Card Holders.

It’s not common to hear from an artist that “Custom Requests are Encouraged” and yet this is also a joyful part of Dragon Folk! From simple color and design changes, to 3 Dimensional Portraits, collaboration is a large focus of my artistry ~ an intriguing and delightful process for my very clever clients and for myself.

My artistry and skills complement and enhance visions, wishes, dreams and memories ~ a thoughtful and mindful way to show your love or reward yourself!

I have no employees ~ all work, business and art is created by my hand, heart and soul, with the express intention to give heart smiles to you and your Loved Ones.
